Marisa is one of our reporters and you may find her every weekend anchoring the latest news in Colorado Springs.
She has served our country in the U.S. Army as a Noncommissioned Officer in the Signal Corp. Marisa was stationed in Korea; where in addition to her military duties, she taught English to Korean soldiers and local school children. She has also participated in two deployments to Iraq with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.
Her radio career began in Florida in 1992 and over many years, has worked at multiple radio stations with a variety of formats such as country, pop, and even traffic reporting to include operating a helicopter camera for televised traffic reports, and breaking news.
Marisa is presently a senior at UCCS majoring in Political Science. She enjoys playing percussion, biking and her dogs.
